WISH LIST:

GRANTS ARE NEEDED TO CARRY OUT THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS:

 

  • Complete the interior of the newly established Beauty Therapy Training Centre
  • Revamp the staff room and kitchen built in the early 1960′s
  • Produce training DVD’s, booklet and online training website for people dealing with the disabled in remote areas
  • Once the new commercial bakery is installed, we would most appreciate donations of ingredients such as bread and cake flour, and other ingredients for making bread, biscuits, cakes and pastries which will be sold to the public to make a profit in order to provide sustainability
  • Computers, printers and cartridges for children who cannot write
  • Grants for maintenance – the buildings which are fairly extensive are old and must constantly be maintened to prevent decay
  • Volunteers to undertake the huge amount of painting required for the extensive buildings and perimeter fencing
  • Food for the feeding scheme
  • Clothing and blankets for indigent children, especially in winter
  • Classroom heaters
  • Bursaries for children who cannot pay the low annual fee of R9000 which includes education, therapy, basic and specialized medical care, provision of assistive devices, transport, uniforms, social welfare services and HIV/Aids and feeding support - approximately 60% of the 350 learners
  • Volunteers to assist with painting and maintenance
